Are you new to rodeo? Allow us to show you the ropes!

Each night, starting at 7:30 pm, the rodeo showcases seven different events:

  • Saddle Bronc Riding: A classic event where riders sync their spurring with the bronco's leaps.

  • Bareback Riding: A challenge of balance and strength, with riders clinging to a bucking horse without reins or saddle and only a one-hand grip.

  • Tie-Down Roping: A test of precision and speed as cowboys lasso calves from horseback.

  • Team Roping: Teamwork in action, with two riders working together to rope a steer for time.

  • Bull Riding: The ultimate adrenaline rush, with riders clinging to a bucking bull for at least eight seconds.

  • Steer Wrestling: A display of power as riders leap from horseback to wrestle a steer to the ground.

  • Barrel Racing: A race against the clock, with horse and rider weaving through a pattern of barrels for the fastest time.

More Than Just Rodeo

Shopping and Food: Vendors will offer authentic Western wear, boots, hats, and leather goods. A variety of food options will also be available throughout the event.

State Livestock Show: This free event runs concurrently and showcases Georgia's youth displaying a variety of livestock. The show starts at 8:00 am daily and is an excellent opportunity to support the kids and learn about farm life.

Affordable Tickets: Tickets are on sale via the Georgia National Rodeo website. With prices at $45 for box seats near the action and $35 for adults ($30 for children aged 2-12) in upper-level seats, it's an event for everyone.
